Hi there! My name is Theresa and I am the school counselor at Mt. Vernon-Enola Elementary. I have been working in the field of mental health off and on for the last 20 years. I received my education from Arkansas State University with a BS in Psychology and a Masters in Education in School Counseling with an emphasis in Crisis and Trauma. I will work to protect and understand my students first and respect what is important to them and their families. My number one goal is to see YOUR student succeed! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything you need.

The Student Voice Team had the privilege of visiting the Greenbrier Nursing Center to hand out cards that all of the students have been working so hard on! We are thankful for the opportunity to share some Christmas cheer and we want to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The Student Voice team conducted a food/hygiene drive to fill the blessing boxes in our community. On 11/20, the students went to Enola and Mt. Vernon to stuff the boxes for Thanksgiving. We love our community and hope that everyone has a wonderful, safe holiday!
2024 - September we kicked of our district-wide initiative - "We are all here"
We want our students and staff to remember that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope and you are NEVER alone! Reach out to a friend, a teacher, your family. You are loved more than you know!
