While road conditions are beginning to improve, they remain unsafe for buses and other vehicles in some areas of our district. The safety of our students, staff, and community is our top priority. 📢 Safety First at Mount Vernon-Enola School District One of the key goals in our District’s Strategic Plan for school safety is perimeter fencing, and we’re excited to share progress on this initiative! Thanks to a grant, we’ve made significant strides in securing our campus. High School update: Starting Tuesday, January 7th, after the tardy bell rings, all gates will be closed and remain locked until after parent pick-up is complete. This measure is designed to limit foot traffic and ensure a safer environment for our students and staff. We’re not done yet! Additional fencing will be installed this summer to further enhance campus security. We’re proud to make our campus a safe place to learn and grow!
