Honoring Our Veterans Yesterday, we hosted a heartfelt breakfast to honor the Veterans in our community! Students, staff, and guests came together to recognize the dedication and sacrifices of our armed forces. Special thanks to Mt. Vernon Feed and Stuff for providing the meal and our incredible Food Service staff for making it happen. In preparation for Veterans Day, students read America’s White Table by Margo Raven, and we set a special table in remembrance of service members fallen, missing, or held captive. Here are some important bus safety tips for Students: Stop, Look, Listen: Before crossing the street, always stop, look left, right, and left again, and listen for traffic. Stay in Designated Areas: Always wait for the bus in a safe, designated area, away from traffic. Be Mindful of Traffic: Be aware of your surroundings and avoid running or playing near the bus. Stay Seated: Once on the bus, stay seated and avoid distractions. #FlightoftheWarhawk
